Rest in Peace Pope John Paul II

I've been too preoccupied to write anything in this blog for the last two weeks due to Stefan being here, but this definitely deserves a mention.

There are no words to express what an amazing man Pope John Paul II was... I for one, though not always agreeing with all the views he may have put forward, thought of him as such an inspirational person, the world is definitely at a loss without the man, though he now deserves all the peace he has after all that he's done for us. If I had updated my blog you would know that on Easter Sunday me and Stefan went to San Pietro and were in the crowd looking at him in the window....The whole thing was unreal and quite an experence. Everybody around us was screaming for him, and a girl who was standing next to me commented to her friend that he looked really healthy....It's just quite an effect when I realise that that was all just a week ago. I'll definitely be going to his funeral.....it's all I can do at this point to try and pay tribute to him.
