update! (for monday 21st rather than the 22nd as this is dated)

Hi all!

Due to constant pestering from my mother I am hereby updating my blog….I am aware that at this precise moment of writing, my mum and nanna are making figolli to die for (by the way ma…any way that you can send up the recipe? Should be a fun experiment to keep us entertained…)…..that is actually something which would ordinarily totally succeed in making me feel homesick but I have quite a nice big part of home with me so it’s all good. Yes the part of home I am referring to is indeed Stefan…..he came up on the 17^th (to surprise me, though we have concluded that he’s not brilliant with surprises since I knew for quite a while :P the thought was the absolute sweetest though…..). It’s been so much fun with him here, I had missed him so much! We did quite a bit in the first couple of days, yesterday we went to Napoli for the day….an adventure in itself….initially a totally barren desert wasteland, but then really nice once we had made our way to the centre…..definitely a day I will remember, not least of all because I spent it with him. I’m over the moon at the moment with the fact that he’s going to be here over easter….I do miss my family loads, especially with easter coming up and everybody here going back home for the holidays….but I’m unbelievably happy that both stef and veronica will be here (veronica keeps going back and forth on the decision but she just got back from the travel agents and said she isn’t going cos its too expensive…so shes currently on no…)…..they’re my extended family over here, and I couldn’t ask for much more than to be surrounded by people I love at easter….though mum dad ed (ed insomma…:P), nanna nannu and everyone else, you have to know that I miss you loooads as well! (btw ma please pass on this note for nanna for Sunday.. Nanna I‘m sorry the turkey didn’t come good…better luck next time :P)

Anyway that’s all the time we have this time….me and stef are off to piazza di spagna! Have a day off work tomorrow so we’re going to be tourists and go to the colosseum….will be taking my funkadelic new camera which stef got for me (he spoils me, I honestly don’t deserve him with all that he does for me :)) so I will hopefully be able to post some more pics (once I post the ones I took of napoli!)

Oh and a final note…..Brunel University will be calling me to conduct a phone interview on Wednesday afternoon…..AAAGGHH!! Nerves getting the better of me, please everyone think of me and send out good vibes!!! J

Final final note before I forget….just cooked really good pasta.....penne with mushroom sauce….so see ma, I do know how to cook something different from Bolognese :P :P :P :P :P
